Depuis lors, le Britannique cherche une autre victoire contre le Top 10 et c'est désormais chose faite puisqu'il vient de battre Hubert Hurkacz au premier tour du tournoi de Vienne. A l'issue d'un match disputé, 6-4, 6-7(6), 6-3, et alors que son adversaire l'avait déjà battu deux fois cette saison, Andy Murray s'est imposé et rejoint Carlos Alcaraz, 18 ans, au 2e tour du tournoi !

After having a MP in the 2nd set tiebreak, he comes back from a break down in the 3rd and beats Hubert Hurkacz 6-4, 6-7(6), 6-3 to reach the 2nd round in Vienna (against Alcaraz).
